Meet The SLPs

There are currently 5 speech therapists at PS 52:

Welcome Letter

• If you have not already received one, we will be sending home a welcome letter.
• Please make sure to fill out the bottom portion with your contact information, as well as provide consent for teletherapy (in the event of a snow day, we will have to switch to remote learning).

Student Work

We have provided folders for each student to maintain work completed during therapy sessions.

What Do We Target in Speech?

• Receptive Language: Following directions, vocabulary, sequencing, questions
• Expressive Language: Communication (verbal, AAC, etc.), expressive vocabulary, grammar/syntax, expressing wants and needs, explaining, responding to questions, story retell
• Articulation: Correct production of speech sounds
• Pragmatic Skills: Eye contact, body language, facial expressions, greetings, conversational turn taking, asking for help

• If a phone call is warranted for any reason, we will set up a time to speak.
• We will be adding you to our DoJo as we finalize our schedules.
